No malice from either of them. I clearly said I largely agree, all I recall was the commentator pointing out we were missing many players, and lawrenson saying ‘yeah, but are they first team players?’
bigsheff
Where’s the hate in that article? “It’s not what he said, it’s the way he said it!!!” Edited January 26, 2019 by bigsheff

Neon Nick
No hate-speech there, complimentary in fact, but I'd reverse the score... 2-1 Wednesday, I mean that. This time tomorrow, we'll all know the score, but I really do think SWFC is going to upset Chelsea.

horny owl
Lawrenson on the Swansea commentary was awful as usual He didn't know anything about our injury problems which had to be pointed out to him He couldn't have been any less interested Awful pundit and an absolute thrower like Beagre
ChinaOwl
If losing is our fate, a 2-1 defeat would not be the worst result. At least we could walk away with our heads held high.

Peter Beagrie on the other hand when beagrie co commentates on us, you can hear what the majority of the crowd actually think of him.
Pablo Bonvin
Danny Murphy and Ruud Gullit Will apparently be providing expert analysis on the game. Make of that what you will. Sexy football here we come.
shandypants
I thought Lawro was quite complementary if I’m honest

Didn't he suggest that none of the injured players would normally get in the first team when, in all reality, we had 9/10 first team regulars missing? That sounds more pathetic than sympathetic. His ilk rock up at random games and go through the motions... there's probably an intern in a BBC bobble hat reading stats to them as they eat a banana.. not knowing what city they're in. shandypants
I quite like Lawro. He’s different to other pundits. Okay, he spouts poo but he does it with a bit of wit and self deprecation. Other pundits appear to actually believe what they say.
McRightSide
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a co-commentator say ‘yep’ so often. I found it pretty amusing how the other dude was trying to strike up conversation and he was getting one word answers back. ’could Sheffield Wednesday have done more?’ ’no. Nope’ ’Willian has been impressive today hasn’t he?’ ’yep’ ‘Chelsea are really controlling this game’ ’yep’ ’So Mark, who’s your MOTM?’ ’Willian’
