It may be a generational thing but there was too much about recent times and a lot of the ones being interviewed looked about the age of my lad. Hi, yeah I did want to put in some of the ‘66 final as a couple of people mentioned it, but it was too expensive to license the footage. I was self-funding and couldn’t stretch to the licensing fee. As for the 70s and Wilkinson, I admit it wasn’t my era so wasn’t all that clued up and of all the people I chose to interview, no one tended to mention it. Maybe an oversight on the selection of candidates but I couldn’t choose all submissions and had to draw a line somewhere as I only had 3 months to get it ready in time for September 4th.
