Well it wasn't the crowd. Atmosphere was atrocious. No band on kop again and think we mustered 2 half hearted songs in 2nd half. Not a peep for first 45 mins. Remind me why do the North stand lot stand up like they're at an away game but can't generate a atmosphere?

We know it's bad when Wigan fans are slagging us off on social media

Westwood - 6

Palmer - 6

Lees - 7

Hector - 7

Fox - 6

Matias - 5

Bannan - 6

Hutch - 7

Boyd - 6

Reach - 5

Fletcher - 8

Joao - 6

Nuhiu - 6

Agnew - 7

Wigan came to spoil and although we had the better chances, it looked like 0-0 until the excellent substitution to bring on Joao. I would have given Fletcher MoM even if he didn’t score. He worked his socks off but needed a partnership with another forward earlier in the game.

Well done Agnew for the substitution and the effective change in tactic but let’s ditch “one up front” for a strike pairing.

Fletch due to work rate and great goal, but Fox has got to be worth a mention. That lad's never ducked the slagging off by the numpties and has put in some pretty good performances recently, today being another one.

Hector is a talent. Can we buy him in time to play Chelsea please ?

Fletcher by a mile, but he did need help at times.

Matias had a poor game, seemed unwilling to run onto Fletcher’s lay offs.

Boyd got more involved second half and really should have scored late on.

Clearly Joao started dragging central defenders away from Fletcher as soon as he came on resulting in the goal.

I was interested to see Bannan repeatedly taking up a position centrally at the edge of Wigan’s penalty area during our attacks.

Getting him a few yards further forward made a difference to the number of chances created I thought.

Fletcher was in top tune.  Remember the first few games this season, when he missed a bunch of "sitters", well, what if his today-form lasts for as many games?  If it does, it would contribute greatly towards a winning streak.  He looked a bit off at the start off the season, but there was not one thing off about him today, and he does tend towards "streaks", like any other player...so when he's on, he's on.

Old Foxy in 2nd place. How times have changed lol

people abusing him n booing him to now praising him.

Food for thought.... booing a player doesn’t bode well for his confidence and helps no one so stop booing our own players on the pitch. (Or cheering when subbed)

he has rose above it and won a few fans over.

Well done Morgan lad.

today he was steady away and made no mistakes.

Fletcher by a mile. Even without the goal he would have been. Worked tirelessly great hold up play.

Special mention to Hutchinson too. We look so much better with him in the middle.

Glad to see Fox is consistently playing well too. Nobody deserves the boos he got and he never hid even when not playing well.

Steadily proving he’s tough enough to cope with the ups and downs of playing at Hillsborough.

Well done Foxy

First half atmosphere was poor but I thought it was not bad second half.

Wigan is just about least attractive game of season and for there fans to slag us off, they fetched a couple of bus loads and didn't hear em once.

They should stick to egg chasing.
