How about a strategy? Emotional 10pm statements aren’t going to keep us out of a highly damaging embargo.

BIG D
I thought he was going to announce he was selling up at first and then thought he was selling the ground and then n'owt really!

Yes, he is very honest. That's all well and good, but once you've made a statement like that then get ready for people to pick it apart. Tbf, there was no such statement forthcoming last season when we quietly fell into a soft embargo in April.
WalthamOwl
I don’t really see how this 1867 thing is going to put much of a dent in the FFP situation.

McRightSide
Good statement. Very honest. By the way, the real decision he’s made isn’t about the membership It’s that he’s staying.
steelowl
sorry just doesn't ring true to me the corporate mess is one example: why keep boxes empty ? under the guise they lose money - total rubbish personally hope that one thing is true that he wont leave us in debt
BD2OWL
If we can sort this out by March as he says, does that mean that the three years start again, or would P&S be based on the previous three years?

Coughing up x amount for season tickets is more than enough commitment from fans imo. Now we are expected to cough up for some scheme to keep the club out of a financial mess? Utterly laughable. Especially after he said himself only 3 weeks ago that the contribution of fans has little impact. Seriously starting to think the bloke isn’t all there.
