alanharper
Unless they put an extra train on it's the only viable train to get back to Sheffield (even then it gets in after midnight). Approx 90 minutes to get from Stamford Bridge to St Pancras, easily doable. I knew it'd sell out so booked tickets right after the final whistle yesterday. Just a bit panicky about getting delayed at tube station
owls-swfc
Does this train take 5,000 plus?

Get to Earls Court, couple of stops from Fulham Broadway, then Piccadilly Line to St Pancras. Just checked TFL website. No issues shown that weekend.

Tamworthowl
Underground trains every five minutes or so. 25-30 minutes station to station. What time will the match finish? How long to get from the ground to the underground platform? Bare in mind that the away end is further from the street than the home end. So how long does it take to run from the underground to the mainline at St P? Should have 20 minutes spare.
Steve Down South
May end up quicker to avoid crowds at Fulham Broadway and walk up Fulham Road to South Kensington Underground. Easy journey back to St Pancras from there on Piccadilly Line.
hykehamowl
Quicker to walk to Earls Court (20 mins) and get Piccadilly line from there.

That would indeed be a miracle if they change the rules of the competition just before the 4th round. 1 1

unkastav
Will be carnage. By the way booking a ticket doesnt guarantee you a place on the train, strange and unfair but true
