Pudil in his first season was class. Simek was brilliant pity he got injured. But since then we haven't had great ones. I do believe Penney will become a good full back but he's not ready for week in week out football at this level, Fox has improved but is not good enough so I would take an experienced pro (I'm talking one that can still run not a 35 year old that played at the top of Europe 10 year ago) as a left back for next year. I think Buxton and Pudil, despite flashes were more do a job type players (which at times was exploited by other teams), and no where near Simek's (first season) class.
