Can't remember our last decent one, Frankie?

Buxton was a decent player for this level. Pudil in his first season was class. Simek was brilliant pity he got injured. But since then we haven't had great ones.

I do believe Penney will become a good full back but he's not ready for week in week out football at this level, Fox has improved but is not good enough so I would take an experienced pro (I'm talking one that can still run not a 35 year old that played at the top of Europe 10 year ago) as a left back for next year. But Right back we need to invest wisely for someone who is good enough now but will also have re-sale value in the future.

I think Buxton and Pudil, despite flashes were more do a job type players (which at times was exploited by other teams), and no where near Simek's (first season) class.

Still much better than the other (so called specialist) dross we've had playing there mind yes.

Agree on Penney.
