Awful afternoon right from the start. Why on earth have we setup with Fletcher completely isolated? Even when the ball is right up there with him there’s no a man around for 20 yards - when Bullen was in we at least committed men next to him when the ball was in and around him.

This has tactically been so poor - we were soaking up so much pressure but still coming away with the ball - and nobody to pass to.

Whats changed? Why change it? We were in good form and playing good football - we look back to how we were under Jos, completely reverted back.

As abysmal as we have been under Jos.

Played same as before but opposition have changed which means other players unable to get forward. In previous games opposition had played several games and did not have legs to play normal game. Hull side far superior to us and have real pace and variety in side we do not.

We should realise Bruce has old school tactics. They might not differ too much from what we're seeing, in a game that has changed a lot. Will he be up to adapting to new style if playing, or will we serve up this kind of dross performances now?

Surely Agnew and Clemence are an extension of Bruce until he comes in, they surely know his ideas.. or are they trying Jos tactics for themselves just to see how poo that is?

I take it your application for the Managers job was turned down?

Hahahahahhahahaha

Good one

No, but I can see a tactically inept display when I see one Vs how we’ve played recently

We are better when we go at teams and play with attacking intent

Our defence ain’t good enough to just sit back all game and hold out, hence why we’ve conceded late a load of times

We were led to believe this was going to be an attacking display  How wrong we were. Steve Agnew has some explaining to do.

Correct

How on earth does he dare say we’ll go out and attack and then turn out that

The players must be killing themselves thinking that’s how we have to play - could see the look on Hutchinson’s face earlier in the game

Don't see why we are playing Reach centrally.

If he doesn't score he doesn't contribute in that position.

Should go 4-4-2 with Winnall up front or move Bannan further up the pitch and put Reach on wing.

Foriesteri will make a big difference.

Would like to see a 4-3-3 with Foriesteri and Matias either side of Winnall

Here’s why I don’t get.

Agnew and Clemence have a free hit, they aren’t going to be the ones facing the press come February 1st.

We won’t go down and neither will we bother the top six. Why not just go out and make a right go of things from the start?

Whats the point in setting up defensively when the previous manager tried that approach and we shipped 40 odd goals in half a season in the process.

Hull might be the form team but they aren’t world beaters.

Garbage.

While i dont agree that we have reverted back to the jos form, (i think we look worse!)

your post about Fletcher being isolated is spot on.

Today was one of the worst performances this season. The manner of it was poor - 0 shots on target.

Hull constantly with wave after wave of attacks and should've scored more than 3. Form team in the league but we made it look so easy.

The goal right on HT gave them a lift - if we went in level, we may have got something.
