In intriged what people see when they give Bannan mom.....running about demanding the ball when he's in no position to do so, hold on to it for too long when there's easy balls on and pinging 20 glory balls a game of which 1 in 3 games comes off?

He was dire today

I said in another thread that our insistence to play nearly every attack through bannan not only slows out attacks down, but also opponents work this out and crowd him out.

Bannan is a great player but we over rely and over play through him.

Bannan plays too deep.  He has talent but wastes it much of the time by not doing the simple stuff well.  He brings energy but he also surrenders possession too often.

As has been said, everything goes through him and it all slows down.

Dawson- 6 not much to do.

Palmer- 5 poor quality going forward and slow at tracking back at times.

Lees-6 Solid enough

Hector-6 Solid enough, have it away a few times but also played some good balls out

Fox- 6 Again like Palmer poor quality going forward but better defensively

Pelupessy-4 no tackles, no passes above 10 yard. Games passed him by

Bannan 5- Poor by his standards. Gave it away too much.

Reach 6- looked threatening on occasions but again poor by his standard. Would prefer to see him out wide.

Boyd-6 worked hard but nothing to show for it

Matias-6 had a few decent chances, not the best finishes though

Fletcher-6 again had a few decent chances but couldn’t finish. Need some pace alongside him.

Winnall-6 could see him making runs but looks very rusty.

This is almost spot on. Although would give Hector a 5, if Bullen advised to play Fletcher and or two others he was way off mark they looked shagged from off.

Reach and Bannan were both effectively marked and as lots goes through them it nullified us.

If we need a full back they have  a real good one in that team. We should be looking at buying him.

If he goes forward gets marked and his make and shape mean easy to mark and keep out of game that's why goes deep. If you arenot physically strong or quick easy to be marked.
