Its now on Sky Sports news. Absolutley disgusting, following their usual anti wednesday propaganda.

They then have the cheek to follow it up with a feature on racism in Italian football and how it has no place in football etc.

FFS. What an absolute load of nonsense.

Very dangerous precedent could be set here with professional footballers wide open to arrest and summons for anything on the pitch deemed by police as threatening behaviour.

What happens the next time a punch thrown in a match ........ police march onto the pitch and arrest the protagonist?

He's a ***. He would have been In and out with a slap on the wrist and a small fine. Now he's opened himself up for a shafting.

He really does need to concentrate on being a PROFESSIONAL or feck him off.

Agreed. Just go to court and sort it. Idiot

Presumably as its football related he just has to say it was harmless banter.

Then the magistrate will say that Mansfield are exhibiting 'faux outrage' and throw the case out.

If it does get to criminal court I'm sure the jury will give 12 negs to the prosecuting council and everyone will shout hurrah. Case closed. lol

What a load of bolllocks though.

Is this a can of worms that everyone will go down now ?

Mansfield Town players was invloved too yet only FF had a day in court?...that said SWFC should have had this all sorted with the player so doesnt look good on our side of things in terms of looking after our own does it?
