It’s much better for them to pay his salary every month rather then pay his contract up, then when another club comes calling (ie us) there will be a negotiation between Katrien, Bruce’s advisors and Villa to find a way forward to suit all parties. Obviously Bruce being out of the country could be one reason for the delay but the longer it does go on the more likely I think DC will give the job to Bullen. It’s a worry. Form in last two games has avoided requirement to bring assistants in first. If we lose badly this will probably change Seems sensible not to rock boat unnecessarily, looked two difficult games and done well and next two also look difficult so coaches who know players will handle things until new man arrives.
