Something that really annoyed me was on one of the occasions that one of their players threw themselves to the floor, the ref stopped play and then their player shot from the drop ball.

Classless w***ers!!

That was ridiculous.  It annoys me anyway when refs in that situation always drop it for the team that didn't have the ball to hoof it back to the keeper or out of play, rather than just drop it for the team in possession where play was stopped, we had the ball on halfway with no Preston player within 20 yards but ended up with a goal kick which means a high chance of losing possession.

And if they'd actually scored from it, would they have given us a free uncontested goal from the restart as other teams have done in similar situations before? I genuinely think they wouldn't,  scrubbers.

The thing was you could see as the ref dropped the ball he was shaping his body up to take a shot, what a complete p**ck!!

So pleased to see him miss that free header near the end.

Preston have always ganged up on Forestieri, especially Pearson who ran to the linesman to get him sent off 2 years ago, an absolute tail.

It was fantastic last season when Forestieri made his comeback and scored the 4th from the free kick, they absolutely hated it, such a weird club.

They are a bit like Huddersfield. They also take issue with Forestieri.

But at Preston the likes of Gallagher and Pearson are always in the refs ear.

The initial tackle yesterday was ok, but he actually then threw himself up to purposely hurt Matias. Just as Michael Brown did to Ogrady that time. That’s just instinctive badness and a real will to injure someone for the buzz of it.

Thankfully with 4 games out he might have the time to hear the buzz of his clippers the scruffy f00ker

Mattias was very lucky to walk away from that one. Pearson had no need to follow through as he did. Be very happy if Preston do appeal... The game doesn't need antics like that and the extra game ban added to the three he is going to get will possibly mean that some other player's career can continue without injury otherwise.

Refs talk and players and teams get reputations. This happened with FF and his “ diving” and was the reason he got sent off at Hull by that twohat Robinson.

Every time we have played Preston recently they have behaved this way , diving, whingeing, crowding the ref .

It can’t be just against us so hopefully more refs will start treating them like the one yesterday did and not putting up with their antics.

One of those tinpot outfits with a chip on their shoulder.

Basically, go around diving, time wasting and (in the case of Pearson) looking to injure opponents.

Delighted to take 3 points off the scrubbers.

Hope they enjoyed their trip to back to a city with less appeal than Chernobyl.

The problem they had with the ref was caused mainly by themselves....Some refs are influenced by having players in their faces all the time...others aren't...They chose the wrong option.

pearson for instance...every tackle, throw in 50/50 , offside...he HAS to have a word, seen him do it before, no doubt he can't help himself, or maybe it "works" more often than not.

The keeper...Should have been booked long before he was and would have been in danger of being sent of himself for the most blatent time wasting.

Even before the sending off Preston players were pushing the limits of gamesmanship, afterwards they spent more time on their backsides than they did stood up...totally anti football and they got exactly what they deserved....

Wednesday might be crap at times, but we don't stoop to that level

The thing with Huddersfield was that I didn't get that vibe from their players, it was their fans that were bizarre.

With Preston they're all in on it. Even before Alex Neil they were Billy Davies-esque when they came to Hillsborough. They looked a little lost on Saturday wtihout Forestieri to take it turns to boot up in the air.

After Forestieri's free kick last season some lads were chanting his name going into the BP garage. Some old PNE fan said, "Don't say his F--king name near me', to which the young Wednesday lad replied, 'Soz love, do you not like players who can do more than kick people in the air' to chuckles from the queue. What a strange bunch.

3 things summed up Preston to a tee in Sat's game:

- The red card tackle - a disgraceful tackle from the chump.

- The goalie wasting time (which the ref dealt with well)

- The drop ball which their berk had a shot instead of passing it back, he obviously missed.
