torres 6,150 Posted December 21, 2018 From Wednesday night when he was backing him til Friday afternoon when he was sacked?? If DC only realised after the forum how bad he was then it’s a worry.
S36 OWL 29,084 Posted December 21, 2018 Maybe he had the nod from Bruce ,so could finally wield the axe. ?
EcclesallOwl 6,850 Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) Don't think he ever backed Jos Sounded like he was just waiting for someone to be lined up before sacking him Edited December 21, 2018 by EcclesallOwl
alanharper 21,134 Posted December 21, 2018 alanharper 20,042 Posted yesterday at 08:25 Maybe just maybe after the forum Chansiri has now realised that the anti-Jos feelings are from the majority of fans and not just a handful and he may take action now. He said a few times that he wouldn’t sack another manager without having someone lined up. Imo he was just playing for time Wednesday.
mogbad 3,026 Posted December 21, 2018 He couldn't do much else until he he'd been given the nod by his replacement.
areNOTwhatTHEYseem 27,228 Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) It was a fans' forum. What did you expect him to say: 'Don't worry, chaps - I'll be sacking the useless git soon enough. Keep it between you and me though, eh?' Edited December 21, 2018 by areNOTwhatTHEYseem 1 1
owls-swfc 1,699 Posted December 21, 2018 Yes., I think DC realised at the forum about the meaning of the word "josstick"!

Give your head a wobble .... he didn’t back Luhukay, he never said he wouldn’t sack him , he said there had to be a plan which meant he wanted a replacement lined up first 1 3

Keep it between you an me though, eh?' Hilarious but no Why not sack him after Norwich, after Bolton, after Rotherham, after Blackburn, after Swansea or at least prior to a meeting where you state you are backing him From the outside looking in it doesn’t fill me with confidence (not that I had much in him anyway) 1
Philb125 2,567 Posted December 21, 2018 Maybe he was awaiting a deal to sell a player or two to finance the sacking of old and hiring of new. With a week or so before window opens maybe a big revenue sale is lined up?

theowlsman 31,012 Posted December 21, 2018 At this point, I see no sense whatsoever in continuing to slate our owner. Let’s give him another chance with Bruce in charge and see where it takes us. 2
handworth52 1,200 Posted December 21, 2018 steve agnew and clemence will probably be sat in the stand tomorrow as long as the bruce deal has been agreed ,they will take charge on boxing day with bullen ,and bullen will probably stay on for a while to help the transition . to what im reading that's what it sounds like , bruce wont come till after his holiday which is early January to what ive read. Ironman 854 Posted December 21, 2018 Reckon he underestimated the actual amount of people that wanted him out, tried to fight his corner out of pride, then after the forum realised he had no choice.
ChinaOwl 3,932 Posted December 21, 2018 I can understand Chansiri not wanting to talk about this at the forum. What I find more difficult to understand is, if this was in the offing and he must have had contact with Bruce before Wednesday, given that he also had the perfect cover story for cancelling the forum altogether, why didn't he wait until this announcement to hold the damn thing?
