So what with be wrong with Doyen buying the club?

I thought that the problem with them was the conflict of interest--they mis-advise clubs to push their own assets, not meet the needs of the club.

But if they owned the club, our interests would be aligned. I mean, they would still be blood-sucking vampires, but if they were sucking the life out of other clubs for our (i.e. their own) benefit, that would be good for us, right?

The problem would be they would probably have us as a league 1 holding pen, a stepping stone for their up and comers

There could still be hazards along the way. You sum the situation up to a tee.

Heard ex goalie Rob Green is heading up a consortium but there is still a fairway to go before they come up with the wedge that Chansiri is after. If they can iron that out then that should swing it.

There's no chance that the sale of the club will be completed in time to affect January transfer window activities.

Fair enough, I disagree but we will see what happens

The only way I can see anything being completed in January is if negotiations with a prospective new owner are already well advanced & awaiting the green light. With DC you wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. What I don't know is if our FFP situation would actually be altered by a change of ownership.

The Premier League is certainly Out of Bounds but there are rumours that various interested American parties could have a Texas Scramble for us.

I heard FF crapped on the 1st fairway, Rhodes shot landed in it,

Rhodes was later fined and sent to Norwich, because hitting a ball in motion is illegal.
