Official - Club up for sale

Recommended Posts

Sadly this is the best outcome we could have had. DC has done a lot of good things for the club, but ultimately his lack of football knowledge has made him a poisoned chalice. Heart in the right place but not canny enough to make things work.

Chansiri is obviously at a low ebb, to say the least, and says he wants out.

One scenario is that he is prepared to accept his losses and move on, agreeing to sell at a price which is attractive enough to bring in a buyer.

Another scenario is one where he stubbornly refuses to take a financial hit and sticks around presiding over the further demise of our great club.

Given his stubbornness on a range of subjects to date (ticket prices, refusing to sack Jos etc), I'm afraid I fear the latter.

I seriously doubt anyone would pay his price, who knows,   re last line  I wish I didn't agree with you

I think Chansiri's fatal error was surrounding himself with leeches and parasites from a certain sports management company from day one. These people saw a rich man with no idea how football worked , and fleeced him .

We just have to hope and pray that it isn't these people who DC was referring to when he said, " people are interested in buying the club", ffs.

Why anyone would neg this is beyond me. I'm talking about Milan not Chansiri.

Milan who would have gladly sold us to that Azerbaijan bloke.

Great PR from Milan who I don't have an issue with but its bizarre how much credit he gets.

Mike Ashley will be looking for a new club soon.

Thought I’d be the first to kick that one off. Can see zero hours contracts being popular with our fans

Fans being frisked on the way in and out of stadium.

“Who’s that we’re playing? Rochdale?” “No that says Lonsdale son!”

If we did get new owners does it affect our FFP position. A few months ago Villa looked to be screwed with Xia's overspending, but then along come new owners and they're linked with new signings which I found mystifying.

Finishing in bottom half of the 3rd division, Dave Allen, Ola Tidman, Steve Howard, High Court steps.

Oh your right it can't  possibly get any worse.

Would love a chairman like Gibson but there hasn't been anybody out there like that for the last 20years so why would they be now?

The good news is I don't think anyone nearby is openly up for sale at the moment. That should mean DC gets the pick of all the billionaires who want to spend tens of millions buying a business in desperate need of investment, which they cannot improve in any way due to regulations supposedly there to protect the club.

I don't think Aston villa had ffp problems mate think it was the 4 million tax bill which they couldn't pay the new owners paid this but from what i understand if they don't go up this year then they are really in the poo our biggest problem is we have not sold Any one last couple of years which has made a massive difference to our problems maybe in January we can off load and end of season alot of hi earners will be gone lol
