Fully suspect this interview and story is a lot tamer than the headline suggests. This is The Star after all.

True, they do exaggerate and often the headline has little to do with the story.

When was the last time we ever learnt anything new about football from.the star....Terry Henfleet!@!

Cant see it - doubt they’re that in the dark

And if we were that badly screwed - they wouldn’t be offered anywhere near the terms they’re on now, so that would be a good indicator as to the future for them.

If we really can’t afford wages of upwards 15k then them two would be off

They've signed contracts. We've got to honour them or sell. Bare in mind that them contracts were given when DC was still in his fantasy world of promotion.

Lets face it there are still sections of our fanbase that are convinced it’s DC stopping us from spending millions on players, and not FFP. And that because we pay over the odds as fans the money should just be there regardless.

Unfortunately these sections seem to be the ones DC takes most notice of.

So there’s every chance he means he’ll just be re-affirming the fact that we still can’t spend.

Because like us, they were in the dark. Plus a contract means nowt really. It just protects us against them leaving on a free. We'll try to sell them and hopefully succeed.

Reach £4m

Forestieri £3m

Joao £3m

Bannan £2.5m

These are the sales and rough fees I expect to see.

By end of January we're looking at...

                 Dawson

Baker  Lees Hector Pudil  Fox

    Onomah Pulepessey  Jones

              Fletcher   Nuhiu

Could well be why certain players are getting u23 places.

If we’re that knackered financially , why did we sound out Bruce about the managers job ?   Did someone think he  was gonna accept peanuts ?

Might still come. If given carte blanche approval to offload some big names and use the proceeds to rebuild.

Though I suspect it’s as above i.e we’re now living in Fookedupsville with Tachey the Tache until he leads us to promotion and back to League 2

Those fees are way off imo

Remember Madine went for 6 million. FF will still get at least 10 million.

We will make a profit on Reach as his screamers will bump up his price

Remember the cut price fees when Leeds were very publicly in the Brown stuff?

Clubs will know what we will accept. We don't have anyone good enough to create a bidding war.

I agree . Also Chansiri has the problem of the three year ST`s running out this season , and how the hell he gets people to buy another , because that is he big income . I can see a massive drop off in season tickets sold for next season.

In cash flow terms that might help us. He spunked the cash from the 3 year season tickets years ago. This is a chance to get more cash in. A fresh start.

Unlikely but if we can get a new manager in, or the current one has a remarkable resurgence, we might even go on a great run and end up selling loads of STs that will help with FFP too.

Imagine.

BTW it is the fans fault we bought shiite and have not organised competent revenue streams from the sort of places most normal businesses like ours would

Was a massive cake tho and you got your bloody stripes back too

It will be a serving of this sort of fare.

Garnished with a bit of shouting.
