If he thought we slagged off Hunt has he ever read what people say about Palmer? Fans are critical of players at every single club! I thought Hunt was a decent right back for this league, thought we saw the best of him at the end of last season when moved to right wing back and he had less responsibility defending. I know where your coming from yeah, like I said it’s a shame he hasn’t sold a few others we thought were rubbish, personally I rated Hunt and thought he was important to us but to get that kind of money for him with his injury record and contract situation I thought was a very good deal

I agree, for that money I would have sold him too. However gripe is his way of coming out and saying “fans didn’t like Hunt so we sold him”. He should have said what you just said “injuries, contract length and we can no longer pay the wages we are paying” absolutely fine, no problem at all but don’t make it about the fans.

I’ve no Idea why he said that, I’ve never had a face to face conversation and personally I still suspect wether his words get lost in translation

Some share of the old family business was gifted to him before the company was floated on the stock market, Like the rest of the family, a significant amount of cash was made by DC on flotation. DC's dad is not as wealthy as most seem to think and, indeed, DC's brother is far wealthier and has significantly more say in the day to day running of Thai Union.
