Understand your point but Kraft Heinz are a $25bn company with a global reach therefore the need to engage with individuals is not the same as a company like SWFC. Our income is going to come from 50-100k paying customers. Sponsorship and corporate investment relies on the clubs relationship with those paying customers. BTW. If Kraft Heinz were to be in financial trouble they’re legally obliged to inform the market through published accounts and profit forecasts which would be reflected in their share price. Bigger vultures would start to circle. The idea that companies (either Heinz or SWFC) can keep their problems secret by saying nowt simply isn’t realistic

This is true. DC May have pots to invest but current EFL policy permits this until  annual losses fall within their criteria.

I think one of the biggest problems in modern day football (and society) is that people think they know a lot about everything this coupled with the fact that everybody is watching everybody (reality TV, social media, etc) these days - makes people think they know or have the right to know everything that is going on, when in truth they don't. 

 

Chansiri has made mistakes and the hope is he'll learn from these - but he has the right to maintain some amount of privacy when it comes to internal and personal matters. If people don't like this they can easily stop paying on a Saturday and go spend their money on a more worthwhile product.

Exactly - we were under a financial black cloud for over 20 years - some folks seem v short sighted.
