Fans Forum Cancelled

Recommended Posts

I’m not sure the University would allow us to effectively blame them for the cancellation if it was a case of our chairman “bottling it”.

Should’ve kept it at 200 max in the 1867 room. 1000 people is far too much for something like this to be productive.

Words fail me at the incompetence. Pissups and breweries again spring to mind.

Why? What on earth have the club done wrong this time?

This reflects terribly on our fans and the way they express themselves on the web and SM. Truly shameful.

If DC can't find anywhere for a forum it will be fans fault. It's all our fault.

Well it wasn't the chairman whop was spouting all the crap on here in  what may or may not have happened at the fans forum. What I find surprising is that folk on here are surprised by the announcment. Baffling. WTF do people expect. The University having open arms which could easily turn into a mini riot. Jesus swept.

Probably realised they'd need to get more security staff off their Christmas break... club probably didn't offer to cover the increased costs. It's an easy out for the club and saves the uni having to deal with any aggro on their turf.

We need a fans' forum before Christmas. Else rightly or wrongly, DC is gonna be considered a coward.

They should do it on radio with submitted questions.

We need to hear what the plan is to get us out of this mess.

I'm sure BBC radio Sheffield would be happy to facilitate.

Bring back Rob Staton. He's been vindicated.

Agreed.Adam Oxley is an absolutely Awful Presenter of FH and P/G. :tango:

The Uni has actually  gone health and safety mad recently. We're not allowed to use Christmas Tree lights without a circuit breaker and fan heaters have been banned. The thought of some angry pointing and shouting will have terrified the tree hugging snowflakes in charge.

Both sensible.

A lot of cheap imported lights are not safe to use and are fire hazards, and fan heaters are stupidly excessive on electric consumption compared to other methods of heating.

Some on here wont let facts get in the way mate.....don't be silly...

Just sums up the pathetic snowflake generation as someone already mentioned... maybe it's their safe-space and they are now offering councilling to the students that would have been potentially affected by the loud football fans

Says a lot about the way the club is run too. There is unrest because the fans are treated like peasants by the club.

Just wait, all of this is the fans fault and DC will fill a room with clapping seals when he announces the same.

And you wonder why the University have cancelled listening to your type on here. This site is full of the criminally insane. THis site certainly keeps on giving. Its better than 'mind the gap'.
