Watnock would not work under an owner like ours.

Hes a great manger but fiercely independent. He would never be told who to pick who not to pick etc

The owner woukd not want such a person to manage the club.

Wouldn't he have just picked whoever gave him a backhander like he used to. garymegson

Back in the 1960’s Warnock would be regularly found in Sheffield disco’s with the likes of Jack Whitham, Ian Branfoot, Graham Pugh, Jim McCalliog and his brother Fred, I can’t recall him having any blades mates.

Am I imagining it or did I once see an interview where Warnock said that he comes from a family of Wednesdayites and only chose to support United to be contrary? I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's true.
