When managers lose dressing rooms, players don't go the extra 20%, they are all coasting until he's sacked. I have too as just like with Irvine I cannot bear to listen to his droning platitudes. I think there is also a collective malaise about the team. Our midfield is also useless at tracking back, useless positional sense, awful at defending. The goalie looks average but in such a defence not surprising. Owl Stork Posted December 16, 2018 Share Posted December 16, 2018 One thing that I've noticed, that tells me something about the man, is that Jos still makes basic language errors, confusing German and English like will/want to and bekommen/become that lead to misinterpretation and could easily be corrected. Someone must have pointed this out to him and he certainly has access to tuition, so I can only conclude that he considers correct communication as not important or is too stubborn or arrogant to make any changes. If this is how he conducts his personal life, then I can understand why he would grate on others professionally. Nobody likes a manager that is inflexible, dismissive and unapproachable. Especially when the results are not supporting that approach. Just my thoughts. Might be seeing too much in it.
