Bluesteel
Players from those leagues are battle hardened unlike some of ours. If they can make the step up is the gamble. Sounds like he has a bit of pace

So depending on price, no problem with his age. However as always, money how? When? Unless we encounter something we dont know before the transfer window. (god only knows) We just have to swap him for a couple of our deadwood. But we must be very careful in sneaking them in without Tranmere noticing anything until it's already too late. Groundhopping Owl
Jesus wept we can't seriously be after another striker when there are so many areas of the team that are deficient. I've nothing particularly against Norwood but if there's any cash to be spent in January then we'd be much better spending it on full backs, a winger with pace or a box-to-box midfielder. gurujuan
I’d happily take another striker, we have often been short of attacking options The last thing we want to do though, is sign a striker of that age who’s only ever played in the lower leagues Just the sort of player we’d struggle to offload if it doesn’t work out, and quite frankly, the odds on it not working out, would be pretty high We’d be better off borrowing a quick youngster from one of the Premier League big boys. Jeez, you’d think we’d learned our lesson signing players of that age

I have no problem if we are trying to sign players from the divisions below if they are the best players in that league. There is some real quality down the leagues. Norwood coming into his prime, suppose it’d be nicer if he was younger, but beggars can’t be choosers and all that. Whilst we have an abundance of strikers now, next season I think many will be moved on. Abundance! We have Joao, a useless carthorse, and a collection of crockery. An embarrassment of riches. Socialist_Owl
I'll say it. Time for Fletcher and Hooper to hit the bricks.

There is if it's anything like the last time we were doing this as we sunk into oblivion in League (Div 3). Signing people like Hooper and Fletcher was risky enough but at least they had pedigree above Championship level
Weshallovercome
Probably coming in to replace FF, purely based on the fact they're both 5' 8''..........makes sense to me.
Bluesteel
It’s ok to bring players in but you need someone to motive them to punch above their weight/achieve the potential others thought they didn’t have. Not sure Jos has shown he can do that in England
gurujuan
If this guy was any good, someone would have given him a chance before now Can’t think of any modern day footballers who have made that type of transition at his age You never say never, but it’s highly unlikely

We do have Fernando, Winnall, Fletcher, Nuhui, Joao, Hooper and Rhodes on loan. So yes on the books we have loads. Plenty of which will be gone in the summer. So if it is true his contract is up in the summer that’s when it makes sense to sign him because our wage bill will be lower. I’d expect a pool of 5 forwards to pick from as of February. Strikers aren’t a priority in my opinion right now. Other areas need strengthening first.
