Name one thing...

Baker has the fitness to run for 90 minutes.

Tracks back instead ambling back after making those forward runs.

Has the work ethic to succeed.

Learning fast and should not be written off in his first season.

There were experienced pro’s on the pitch today who were worse.

He certainly exposes the flank better than Palmer. He'll be a decent player if we don't destroy him first.

I think you're clutching at straws with this argument. Baker was playing wing back today so had to flank - I wouldn't even say it was better than Palmer playing right back would normally do.

Baker's hard working but not good enough - simple as.

Our full backs are a huge problem.  In todays game they are such an important attacking focal point.

This. Pudil and Palmer are better than Fox and Baker, and that’s not saying much.

He does being youthful better than Palmer....

Honestly that’s all I can cling onto is that he’s got room to grow. Loads of room. And I’m trying to keep in mind the start Buxton had here.

However, we probably don’t have the time to wait for Baker to turn good. Saying that, we probably don’t have the money to get any better.

Palmer is better as he’s got more experience at this level and it does show.

Both not good enough though.

Might be stars for our league one campaign mind you...
