Dawson, Baker etc.

Just not good enough, if we had serious ambitions they wouldnt get a look in, we need a complete clear out with only one or two key players remaining.

Hopefully we get a new man in and a busy summer in the exit door section.

Incredible it’s our youth prospects being singled out who are on a fraction of the wage and other teams would likely be singing ‘he’s one of our own’ about....

whilst dawson messes up on second have a look at the heroic effort Bannan on most likely 5x his salary does to close down the effort. At least Dawson tried... Bannan is offering little to nothing in this dogfight we find our selves in. The only tackles he makes are mistimed, his passes are usually straight back to the defender he ran 50m to collect it from, he’s never in his position leaving other CM to cover and look utter shybo doing two men’s jobs, his corners don’t beat first man. Honestly is it just the odd Hollywood pass that gets him hero status?

Agreed.

Feel sorry for Dawson today as he made a mistake any goalkeeper can make. But he tends to make a mistake on a game by game basis.

Baker is just not ready for this level.

I know it's a different level but he plays very well in a midfield role defensively for the Welsh u21

I sort of understand what you mean - but he's 23. How long do we give him to be 'ready'.

I don't understand why anyone expects any different.  We have NEVER produced anyone from our youth academy who is any good since Mel Sterland.  We should scrap it and spend the same about of money every year on one or two prospects who haven't made it at top clubs.

So a player goes from winning player of the month to not being good enough in the time it takes for one shot to go in

Is Pickford no longer good enough on the strength of last weeks last minute mistake against Everton

Or De Gea no longer good enough to claim he's the best in the world

What about that clown at Arsenal

just watch match of the day or EFL every saturday and you'll see errors like Dawson's today 3-5 times and by much more experienced and supposedly bettter keepers

might be cause they wouldn't know a talented player if he slapped them in the face
