Some fans have stopped even looking at the prices, as they see it, Wednesday were quite happy to leave some of them behind in a bid for success, as were a lot of Wednesday fans... I include myself in that because I have bought the season tickets. sure i expressed my disgust on here and wrote a couple of emails to the club....takes two minutes, its hardly a sacrifice is it?. These fans will not be re engaged by the odd £20 a game..they may not be re engaged at all, To attract fans to replace those lost, will not be done by the odd £20 a game, only success on the field will attract new supporters as it has done with success at other clubs, who at times were getting nowhere near the gates we get now, even with the tat we are watching at the minute. Footballs changed, We haven't gone with it, cos we dropped out just before it took off...knowing our luck we will make it back just as the bubble bursts. Its obvious to me that success for Wednesday is not on the horizon, we tried, we narrowly failed, we haven't got the capacity to try again in the near future. I predict that when these disengaged fans are needed....They won't be there, they will justfiably think "Sod you" Its not only affordability...The POTG prices actually take the p *ss!...don't they.... You can't take the p *ss for over 9/10 ths of the time...Then say..."ahh whats up with you this week...mardy tw *t"? Haven't attended a single game this season and won't be going to this one either. Yes, I'm a part-timer anyway but I usually get to around 10 games a season with my 2 kids. When membership was announced at £90, I told my kids we weren't going this season. The backtracking wasn't enough for me to overcome the show of complete contempt of POTD fans. I am 'disengaged' and the odd £20 ticket will not change that because it is not a question of affordabilily. I will be back of course but it might require a complete change of attitude towards fans by the club and I can't see that happening any time soon. I don't expect anything special or think I am entitled to anything..I am just one man making his own pointless protest!

Millhouses
Should try and build bridges with the fans by announcing that these prices will be for all remaining games, season tickets still cheaper over the course of the season so thy can’t whinge

I'm a season ticket holder and don't mind if potg is cheaper sometimes. It suits me to pay upfront and means we attend all games. Without a ST would probably miss a few evening matches. So well done for the sensible pricing, just hope plenty of fans buy tickets. Let's see what excuses come out for not going.
Buxtongent
Be interesting if we were to know what percentage of total ST holders turn up, and how may extra? POTG turn up. As ever we have doubters and down-sayers already

Let's see what excuses come out for not going. Well I live overseas in Dingle, cannot use flight based transport due to a spinal injury, therefore around a four day round trip for me and due to copious amounts of various alcoholic beverages consumed on the eve of the match it's a distinct possibility that I won't leave my dwelling place for a week. If I were living in or around Sheffield these days I would most definitly be one of those who attend all home and away matched as I used to. That's my excuse and every word valid. However, this town becomes overrun with top,top tottie for a couple of weeks and I usually get a couple of New Year presents. A few tabs of morphine takes care of the spinal pain and they do most of the work anyways , soooooooooo. I'll be staying put as usual P'n'S FFP FFS

Guest domSWFC
They need to knock another £30 off those ticket prices to make it value for money. Just charge the away fans more with the promises of lots of goals.

With 13 home games remaining, that is £260 (13 times £20) for the rest of the season - meaning the 1st 10 games cost me £380 - or £38 each. Try again. Anus
After the Blackburn match, the Birmingham match is the next we have penciled in and I'm rather pleased to see the sensible ticket prices! I know we aren't exactly hot stuff at the moment and this club is heading to Armageddon etc etc, but I can't wait. Come matchday I just get all giddy and I seem to be able to deal with all the things people see as problems in the same way I do at home....
