Who's yo say he isn't already borrowing from the bank of dad.

His Dad has spent his whole life developing TUF into the world leading fish processor. He's the very model of a successful businessman

What makes you think he would throw money at a bottomless pit of a football club to prop up the awful decisions made by his son, who so far has blown 1/7 of his Dad's reported net worth in just 4 years?

His dad is not as wealthy as you would imagine. In fact his brother is considerably wealthier than his father and owns approximately twice as many shares in Thai Union. Both of them would be too smart to waste money on an ailing second division football club thousands of miles from home.

Evidence that statement.

No need to evidence it. I'm pretty sure anyone who has spent more than 30 seconds looking at the Chansiri family knows that DC is not out there desperately trying to work out how to shift an extra £120m into the club.

I don't doubt he's got a right few quid but talk of him being worth £500 million are pie in the sky.

Chansiri buying some unknown club back in Thailand (or anywhere outside of UEFA area) and then buying Fox, Nuhiu, Jones and Boyd for £30million each

We get £120m injunction, FFP is sorted and we move on.

figures exaggerated to make the point but is there anything in the FFP rules to stop this happening....almost a reverse Leicester?

Maybe Fox, Nuhiu, Jones and Boyd don't want to be sent to Thailand?

Though the weather is better over there than Sheffield

What’s to stop him from paying £30m+ to sponsor the ground?Surely there must be ways to get his money into the club if he wanted

He’s trying his best with D taxis sponsoring us  , and i’m led to believe paying for all the empty executive boxes at each game .

Is there no law that prohibits actually advertising stuff that doesn't exist/

Fox advertises that he is a professional footballer, and Abdi...

Sorry if this comes across as dim... why can’t he sponsor the shirt for a certain amount?

Any deal with the club had to be at fair market value. Clubs will push this as far as they can justify so that they can put a few more quid in than they could actually raise in sponsorship but push it too far and the EFL will disallow the entire amount in FFP calculations.
