Plonk
20 hours ago, Semedo's ferret said: Bull...t. We've said for years that Palmer and Fox are league 1 players. That was when we used them sparingly. Now Jos is forced to use them and the worse Baker every game. Not having Lee or Hutch in CM isn't Jos' fault either and having only 300k to replace them was never going to result in success. JP is like a fish out of water, brought in by a manager who hadn't the foggiest what was in store for them both. Chansiri made the decision to bring in Jos. Chansiri made the mess that's left Jos with an impossible situation to manage. Yes I agree its time served for Jos, but no way is the reason why defensively we're so bad down to Jos and no one else. Lee yes but hutch is fit and wants to play ( even for the U23s) but isn’t allowed. What we are crying out for is a big hard experienced centre back ( a Mick Lyons type) who will organise and lead. But Jo’s won’t bring in experienced players. A hard mid fielder, but Jo’s won’t play him. And a forward with a bit of movement, but Jo’s won’t pick him. on Saturday we had THREE left backs on the bench and none in the team. The full backs change every game, the confidence of all of them must be shot. He even managed to drop our best defender as soon as he he got player of the month. He persists st s with this dour defensive style despite us having the worst defensive record in the league. so no I don’t think it’s Jo’s fault. gurujuan
He has all the tools in the box, he just doesn’t have a clue how to use them
crookesowl
We could have Des Walker and Nigel Pearson in defence it would make very little difference if the oppo just pass round them
