Is Jos trying to get the sack ?

Recommended Posts

Holloway summed the situation up perfectly on this week's Quest EFL show. He reckons that Jos has inherited an attacking squad that played attractive football and turned them into a defensive nightmare. Pretty damning comment from a fellow member of the managers' union.

I tend to agree. Jos has basically inherited a decent top ten Championship squad and turned them into relegation fodder. No mean feat, considering.

He was retired and took a final lucrative pay out from us.

Remember, he's on significantly more cash than the Clown.

He'll be off shortly to spend his winnings.

The owner said he was on top dollar didn't he? You don't believe a word he says so why do you give credence to this particular statement?

You have to wonder at the level of communication between coaching staff/manager and players. Oh to be a fly on the wall of our dressing room before kick off and at half time, I’d like to bet it’s as silent as the grave and that if any coach speaks in there it’s met with smirks of disbelief and much eye rolling. I think our dressing room has been well and truly lost by this man and it’s time he jogged off into the sunset, I really don’t know why he hasn’t walked, it must be a terrible situation for him as well as us!

If Holloway said that, he’s gone up in my estimation, I’ve been saying that since he arrived

Well ?

When he came he tightened things up , we were trying different things from free kicks and corners and played some good stuff

Earlier this season the wins and performances away at Villa and Bristol convinced many that we could be dark horses for promotion

We are now a million miles  away from those games and in free fall and Jos and his side kick just sit in the dug out in silence .

You could be right. Get the feeling he was misled by Chansiri over the real situation at the club and this might be his way of getting revenge. Shockingly unprofessional if true and a real "up yours" to the fans as well.

Maybe this was the start of Holloway's job interview?

i'm not certain that he would be a suitable replacement, by the way!

Easy enough to make bold statements from outside looking in without being in control of the facts.

Went down a long way in my estimation,he knows F erk all about us,we certainly didnt attack under CCs 2nd season WTF:

Exceedingly thick of DC if actually the case.

Even the most ardent Bundesliga fans were hard pressed to remember the guy, and he was sitting inactive for over a year.

There was no reason why Jos commanded any "top dollar" valuation.

I genuinely think he wants out as much as we want him out but he isn’t going to leave for nothing so wants paying off. He’s realised this job is too big for him and is way out of his depth.

It maybe also that he wasn't told of the impending difficulties in adding to his squad, as well as being hit with the seemingly endless injuries we have suffered.

His constant tinkering and playing players out of position, coupled with not using his best eleven IMO, has also led me to question whether he's looking for a pay-off.

It's quite clear he hasn't got a clue what he is doing . I doubt he will walk though and lose his pay off.

It makes you wonder, but you have to look at the back end of last season and compare the contrast in style, results etc .. its baffling. We had a bloody good run last year and played some decent stuff, got some good results

What the fizz is happening??

Has he had some orders to mix it up? each game or something?

Didn't he walk out of his last job in Germany due to friction with the owner?

He doesn't seem to be the sort of bloke who'd hang around if he was unhappy.

I think he's just out of his depth

To be fair, Ian is trying to get the gig.
