matthefish2002
Think Moyes is far from a perfect choice but in Wednesdays circumstances I wouldnt say no. Get us organised to stay up this season and rebuild from close season onwards. Did crap at Man U and Sunderland but not only manager to fail at those clubs recently. Lord Snooty
Moyes used to have a room at Evertons training ing ground where every wall was whiteboarded. I this room they had written hundreds if stats and names of players from all around the globe and it was all updated weekly. Their running stats. Performance stats. Newspaper stories about their misdemeanors. Absolute thorough personal checks. Long term Is thought he did a terrific job there. Don't see that working here. Where you sign who you're told. Shame. Would have been great in some ways. The fake footballer sticker would have added some guffaws to a grim season.
Guest everydays_wednesday
We need to get realistic as we are fishing in a different pond now for managers. No money, clubs a mess so replacing Jos will just see another unknown foreign manager arrive. We should have had a big name when DC first turned up and was splashing the cash. Everton's "shoestring budget" is a bit different to ours. Moyes spent £5m+ (going up to £19m) on players 16 times including £9m on Bilyaletdinov (who?) and £8m on James Beattie. And if you think that's peanuts now, it wasn't now, it was 10-15 years ago. Had to sell to buy for most of that time

fpowl
Moyes career is over he was great at Everton. Took on a difficult job that was too big for him at United and has failed everywhere he’s been since probably the most sacked manager in the last 5 years he even beats Carlos in this period

pat blondeau
Moyes was reportedly on 50k a week at West Ham last season and received a 2 million bonus for keeping them up. The chances of Moyes coming here (or even Chansiri offering him the job) are slim to none.

Sultan_Pepper
Read a book once (scary I know), that was written by a coach or scout. Talked about Moyes arriving for his first day at a new club and none of the players knowing him but him approaching training, communicating with all the players and just completely taking care of every detail and completely turning round the fortunes of the club. I think it was when he arrived at Everton. I'd be happy with him if we have a change Edited December 2, 2018 by Sultan_Pepper
