Whatever you think of Wildsmith he was on the bench to replace him in this event, another baffling non substitute decision.

To be fair, it was quite early in the second half and we’d already used two substitutions. I imagine him continuing was so we could retain one substitute for later.

he didn't come off because he was able to carry on ….you don't sub someone just because they've gone down and needed treatment ….

Plenty of reasons to question Jos's decisions but there's no way Dawson would've played on if he knew he would struggle. He gets a hard enough time as it is. Fair play to the lad, sometimes it must be tempting to claim to be injured even when not given the current atmosphere. Wouldn't be the first time!!

He's gunna have back troubles before long, all that bending over to pick the ball out from the back of the net will eventually take it's toll.
