Keane or Holloway for me.

Chansiri seems to look for Mr nice guy so Holloway stands a chance. Not only that he calls himself a Wednesday fan for some reason.

Under Chansiri its going to be a yes man.  He employed that waste of air from Charlton n'all.

“Today’s game was like when you give a bird a cheeky pinch on the bum and she turns around and smacks you across the face”.

That would’ve been this man’s post match comment.

Got to be worth considering just for having personality. One more attribute than JL.

Out of those mentioned Holloway for me.

He knows we are a big club and what is possible here.

He knows the league inside out

He is a positive character and tries  to play positive passing football

But mainly for his enthusiasm.

He lives and breathes it and would  be fantastic with the players.

Plus he has got two teams promoted to the Premiership. Blackpool and Palace. And getting Blackpool promoted under Oyston must rank amongst one of the most amazing managerial feats in history

You seriously believer that drivel? He needs to go

We can’t afford to pay him off. Chansiri is waiting for him to walk.

That's the trouble. He'll stay until sacked.

See after match comments. Concentrating on preparing for the Rotherham match.

Stuart Gray is best of those available who we could get.

This would be big chance but how about Ben Wilkinson and with his dad Howard as advisor.

Man City recruited him from under 18s and he is now assistant manager of U/23 side.

The current bunch of u/18s play a high pressing game and it was clearly down to Ben and this must have impressed hierarchy at City.

If money would also bring Ramsdale back as Director of Football. He sorted Academy out and would give him task of sorting scouting out.

I'd take Gray in a heartbeat. Doubt DC would want to re-employ someone he fired without much ceremony.

Gray would bring organisation and practical football. Maybe not the pretty attractive football but he'd stop us shipping goals for fun. Also well respected in the game and knows players who might come fit in and not cost the earth.

It's the same line every week, he's mastered it. Just has to rememember who's up next.

Now McCarthy is gone, Steve Bruce would seem the most likely candidate.

can we afford to sack Jos and his coaches though? How would it effect FFP?

Paul Cook is another realistic option, and long as he doesn't talk. Don't like the way he talks.

Scrolled through the thread and amazed it took that long for someone to mention Cook. Had succes in Ireland, then Chesterfield, Portsmouth and now Wigan all while playing positive football and scoring plenty of goals. Plus he’s a passionate enthusiastic character and we really need some of that at the moment

But I agree about his voice.

Then give him the same treatment as westwood and hutch, make him sit out his term at middlewood training ground where he cant do anymore harm

Paul Sturrock

Sadly has parkinson's would have loved to have seen him with some money to spend when he was here ,one of the best apointments.

As Chansiri sacked Gray, I doubt he would have the guts to resign him.

Still Jokanovic for me, unless we’re having a fire sale in Jan. In which case, relegation and a rebuild on the cheap will be the outcome. Then Paul Hirst, who has done that sort of job with Shrewsbury in League One, might be a decent option

If only a Jokanovic and Stuey pairing was a realistic possibility.
