Forestieri made a difference on a Tuesday night.

He played pretty well on Saturday, despite missing a sitter.

If Matias was in sparkling form then I could understand it...but he isn't.

Jos doesn't manage like a guy who is under pressure; in fact, he manages like a 15-year-old on Football Manager.

He might make a difference off the bench again . He was utter turd against derby , an embarrassing performance . Let’s jot just bash the manager for the sake of it eh

433 ?

Glad Palmer back. Certainly our best RB.

Delighted Fletcher fit, and Joao deserves to start. Was excellent when he came on Tuesday.

Matias - Fletcher - Joao is exciting and balanced, but Forestieri must really have hacked Jos off if he can’t start ahead of Matias who did very little in the last two games.

Overrall it’s a very good line-up.

So that front three.

a back four of:

palmer lees Hector Thorniley

and in midfield:

  Reach Pelupessy Bannan

I have some terrible news.

My Wednesday mug of 21 years ("Wednesday Legends", 4 players: Waddle, Hirst, then Waddle & Hirst again) has just broken.

Is it the one that also has Lawrie Madden?

Can someone put that lot into a formation? Is Thorniley on the left of a back four ? I’m happy with Joao, Fletcher and Matias but would have preferred FF up there instead of Matias...maybe The Moustache wants him as an impact sub to nick the win in the second half. Anyone who’s there strap yourselves in for another deadly first half then!

Dawson

Palmer         Lees         Hector       Thorniley

Reach      Pelupessy     Bannan

 Joao                  Fletcher                   Matias

Hmm.

Hang on though....could he possibly go 4-4-2

Dawson

Palmer         Lees         Hector       Thorniley

Reach      Pelupessy     Bannan     Matias

        Joao          Fletcher

Or even this. Though I have to say I don't think we'll see Reach at wingback under this regime.

Not sure how we'd set up with that line up. Reach on the left possibly? It would make sense in Jos's eyes to put an effective attacking player further away from the opponents area.
