Which sort of proves my point that TV execs are only really interested in the really big clubs for the ratings. Which channel was it on?
Kopparberg
Unmissable. What a raging trouser rocket of a tie.
Kopparberg
Seriously though, with a new manager, it should be a game we should win comfortably - it’ll help the new manager up his win % If nothing has changed by then we may find a way to implode as usual. Beauchief Owl
Well if we lose to even a good L1 side the immediate future will look very bleak indeed. However it does give many of our fringe players the chance to show that they are at least good enough at that level (or not as I suspect is the case with a few). Musn't Grumble
Look on the bright side... After a 2-0 home defeat, we'll get to hear Jos trot out the "We can now concentrate on the league" piece.

Previous match we lost 3-2 at the Lane. Yes, I remember that game. Malcolm MacDonald scored a hat trick. Jackie Sinclair scored for us at the Kop End in the 2nd half, but we were about 4 - 0 down by then. The previous week, we came back from 2-0 down at Bramall Lane, but John Tudor, coming on as sub, then scored their winner late on in the second half. It was shortly after this that Peter Rodrigues signed for SWFC.

alanharper
I've hated Luton since the first time I saw us play them, around 81/82. We drew 3-3, we were all over them and they were awarded the most random penalty ever, I can still see the ref casually pointing to the spot to the surprise of everybody in the stands and on the pitch. Even then we were 3-2 up at the end but he decided to play on until they equalised, which they did at about quarter past six.
steveger
tricky one for us, but then again a game against Doncaster blind school wheelchair bound XI under 8's would be dodgy for us ATM
