I agree to a point ,but those players are a lot younger , fletcher is 31 and has had major injury issues ,he probably could have played last 20 mins yesterday but I doubt it would have made any difference . knowing the idiotic jos we will start against Bolton with a new back line , front line etc probably start with a back 5 and try to scrap a draw. I could go through the team but it would get boring. Conversely, we don't want him getting injured as you've seen the alternatives aren't in the same league as Fletcher. There were far more problems on the field yesterday than the absence of Fletcher who we need to be available over the coming months.
