just got the Sky Sports  alert saying he had stepped down as ROI manager.

Yes just seen. Personally always liked him. Gone south with Roi but an excellent man manager, passionate and players run through brick walls for him.

Martin O'Neill would have a been a dream appointment 10 years ago but not so much now.

Doubt he would come if offered, he is 66 so think he will retire.

Over Jos yes but in the grand scheme of things nah I'm not fussed. as stated above 10 15 years too late

Yes, lost his way a little bit with the ROI job , at one time I thought he would first choice to succeed Alex Ferguson at Man Utd

I can see o'Neil ending up at Stoke if Gary Rowett does not get them moving up the league.

You foresee a lot of people going to stoke don't ya.

And there's no chance,stoke would appoint him,they,in fact any club is better than O'neil.
