Alex McLeish last night. Nice of him to tell us why Jos has been very careful how much he asks of Fletch.

“We knew watching the game that Steven Fletcher has been managing his body for the last few months having been out for a few months and he was a greater leader of the line for us tonight."

You couldn’t pay me to have him back

He’s that brilliant he’s been dropped for most of the season

So which one of our strikers is it that’s scored more goals than him this season ????

Quality footballer is Fletch, we look a much better team when he is leading the line. Wins headers, wins fouls and holds it up brilliantly. Not prolific but works his nuts off every match. Like him a lot

but he needs a 'quality finisher' with him, and ours is injured at present, and for around 50% of the time.

he also needs strong attacking support from the m/f in order for him to be his most 'effective'.

REALLY hope he doesn't get injured.

If he plays against Israel I really can’t see jos starting him against Derby

Agree and probably the right thing to do
