Popular Post Costello 77
Once we've given a few kickings out in the early rounds... what's our best route to the final? I fear Shrewsbury but I honestly think we can put that hoodo to bed this year. Btw... my last op got less views than alloy scuff repair ..so rally round lads and lasses.

Anyone for a 0-0 at the lane and Dawson to be penalty shoot out hero? No? Ok. 1

Despatch a few Lincolns and when it gets serious and they start playing U23s ...we pounce!! Your scenario only works in the final for me and they won't make it. The glory is there for us to take......why does bloody Wigan keep popping into my brain?

Definitely, I said Dawson would score the winning penalty in last Friday's game. Nearly got it right.
CrosbyKitchens
I'm still thinking about a run to the play off final with Sam Allardyce in charge. 2

Ethel The Tree
I'm confused now, I thought you were on about the FA Youth Cup Our U18s have Stoke at Hillsborough on the 13th December and after that ...? Assuming we can avoid either Chelsea or Man Citeh until the semis at least, I don't think our boys need fear anyone
shezzas left peg
Stranger things have happened at sea? In all fairness, I don't think we'll be in a relagation dogfight or really be up pushing the top six. Our form has been patchy, but every now and then we do seem to show we're capable of upsetting the W. B. A.. Villa's etc in this division, so if we took the cup as a chance for a bit of relief from the scrap of the championship and a way of getting a bit of unexpected revenue by taking it seriously, then why not? All we need some luck, a favourable draw or two and little bit of form and with Nando, mattias or both coming back in to join Bazza, reach etc who knows? Doghouse Daz
If we ain't back in the play offs by New Year, then go for it. If we're back in the play offs by then, yeah, sod it, go for it. I don't give a poo anymore, smash and grab. Bring em on.

Anything short of a guaranteed top 2 finish and I wouldn't bother. Even Carlos was able to make such a guarantee!!

sonofbert2
Out in the first match away at Bournemouth 1-0, goal scored after 4 minutes. Just to top a great day out for our travelling masses, overturned lorry blocks all carriageways on M1 just north of Scratchwood Services on return journey. And we'll really shake 'em up!
myHero
Let's concentrate on scoring more than we concede first and then anything is possible.
