Jokanovic Anyone.

Recommended Posts

Jokanovic/Gray dream team sounds very appealing.

Admittedly he wouldn't have the all round quality he had at Watford and Fulham, but there's still plenty to work with here. Joao, Matias, FF, Nuhiu, Reach, Bannan, Onomah, Hector....All players I'd imagine he'd get much more out of than Jos. Particularly in attack.

Plays a high pressing game and likes to go at teams.

No chance he'd come here though imo. And could we afford him anyway?

100 million is spending big, no matter how you try and spin it.

Only a complete wazzock argues otherwise.

You're wasting your time trying to get through to CF83OWL

Our big mistake was not getting Zidane when he left Real Madrid but surely this bloke could be tempted to leave behind the best bit of London and working with a squad worth millions for our Adthe and co in November in Sheffield.

It's a good job we're in the position too to spend the money to pay for it all to happen.

As I said before....they spent £100m and brought in 12 players.

Compare this to Liverpool who spent £170m on 4 players.

The amount of money spent doesnt always tell you the true picture.

We could get 10 x Jordan Rhodes for £100m

Fulham signed best French defender last season outside of PSG and best midfielder outside of PSG too.

And both for big money.

They spent most that any promoted side has ever spent in the prem.

Smashed their transfer record.

To say they didn't spend big is frankly stupid.

Didn't he fall out with FF at Watford, which led him our way?

This.

His record in this league is enviable, but he's achieved promotion at clubs who had plenty of money to throw at the situation.

If people think that Jokanovic could come in and sort everything at S6 out, then they are either misjudging his experience or underestimating how in the sh*t we are, or both.

Good points, although I'd suggest that most people (me including) are rightly or wrongly thinking he must be able to do a better job that Jos

Fulham have spent over £100m on 14 players.

Some were loans but I expect they had loan fees which is normal these days.

This is on average 7m a player.

Yes one player was £27m which is big, but when you compare the calibre if player brought in for that £100m.

This explains why they are bottom of the league.

They did. Big reason why they’ve struggled.

Stu is so underrated. Stopped us leaking goals and stopped Fulham leaking goals. No shock Fulham looked terribly defensively this season without Gray there.

Bang on no Gray and they have leaked goals. People underestimate the great job he did here.

I dont know why these managers even bother coming to the Championship. They spend years building a team to get out of it, then as soon as they struggle in the league above they get the boot.

As if Fulham were ever gonna compete unless they spent big.....wake up Fulham!

They’ve spent £100 million since May!

It was rather strange how DC got rid of Gray and brought in Carlos when you consider CC's previous records.

Think CC lack of knowledge cost Gray his job. Thought you could buy promotion playing football like the dutch 1974 world cup team. Hang on is that why he brought Jos in. Maybe he thought he was a disciple of the great Johan Cruyff rather than Dave Basset.
