Who was dishing out the contracts?

I give up :)

Trying post this - keeps appearing with most of the text struck through???

If football had robust independent governance then institutional corruption would be avoided.

If it had a rule whereby offshore capital could only be invested on the basis that the equivalent amount to the amount being invested was held on deposit (interest bearing) to support the financial stability of a club, if there was then a legal commitment from the owner that they are indeed the ultimate source of capital and that there was no additional hidden financing involved, where the penalty for this not being the case was being removed as owner, and the funds held under deposit being released to the club to support the transition, then things would be much better at a host of clubs.

The above shouldn't have been a problem for Dejphon Chansiri as he has always said he had no problem with capital, only a problem being able to invest it into the club.

It is worrying to see folks speculate as to the potential of undeclared ownership of or financial interest in our club, but if this were the case then this would explain a bunch of things.

I think the fans have every right to ask questions about who is lurking in the background at our club, and who these people are linked with . My big worry is the Paxo man ,and his close connections to  a certain sports management company , who`s shady dealings are all out there online for people to see .

Worrying times ahead i feel.

I think the circumstantial is now overwhelming..many have links back to our advisors, some more subtle than others...some may think trying to hide...

Even Pelupessy Jos's first signing..bought from FC Twente.

The chairman of Dutch side FC Twente has resigned after details of a controversial agreement with club investors Doyen Sports were leaked.

Van der Laan took over at the club earlier in the year but has now left after it was revealed the deal he and predecessor Joop Munsterman struck with Doyen Sports gave it a cut of player transfer fees in return for an investment of €5 million.

However, details of the agreement have shown Doyen has a say over club transfer policy which is banned by the KNVB, Holland's football association.

Van der Laan resigned after the KNVB ordered its licensing committee to investigate.

The fact Paxo is working as our DOF ,and has very , very close links with Doyen  suggest`s this is exactly what is happening at Hillsbro

Pelupessy was signed from Heracles Almelo but started his career at Twente

Twente also got a percentage of the transfer fee.

https://www.twenteinsite.nl/update-heracles-en-sheffield-wednesday-akkoord-pelupessy-op-weg-naar-engeland.html

"UPDATE: Heracles and Sheffield Wednesday agree, Pelupessy on his way to England

After former FC Twente player Joey Pelupessy saw a transfer to American New York City before, he can now remember the interest of the English Sheffield Wednesday. The club from the English Championship, the second level of England would like to add the midfielder to her selection and is now in negotiations with Heracles Almelo about an interim transfer.

Recently the English club has been led by the Dutchman Jos Luhukay and it is his job to get the club to the left-hand row in the ranking. Whether Pelupessy can help him with that is still the question, Heracles would rather not let the captain go.

Actually, the club is still negative towards a departure from Pelupessy, but director Nico-Jan Hoogma has also said that it can be so different in football. Pelupessy still has a six-month contract in Almelo. If it comes to a winter transfer, then FC Twente will spin yarn. The Enschede club has a resale percentage of 25% and is entitled to a training allowance.

Update: Heracles Almelo and Sheffield Wednesday have reached an agreement about Joey Pelupessy. The midfielder is currently traveling to England to get around with the club from The Championship. When both parties are around Pelupessy can be medically inspected after which the transition can be completed."

Pelupessy wasn't part of that agreement

"II. The ERPA dissected

The ERPA between FC Twente and Doyen Sports is dated from 25 February 2014. The ERPA consists of two separate agreements: a first general agreement signed on 27 December 2013; and a second agreement added on 25 February 2014. By means of the ERPA, Doyen purchased part of the economic rights of seven players who at the time were all registered and playing for FC Twente, namely Castaignos, Promes, Ould-Chikh, Mokhtar, Eghan, Ebecilio and Tadic. In return, Doyen provided FC Twente a fee for each of the players for a total amount of €5 million."

I'd advise everyone to read that blog, it's very insightful.

Yes it certainly is

As stated, Doyen did not obtain all of the economic rights of the players, but only a share. The share acquired by Doyen varied from player to player and fluctuated between 10% (for Tadic) and 50% (for Castaignos). At first glance, the mechanism seems relatively straightforward: once a player is sold to another football club Doyen receives an amount equal to its share of the economic rights attached to the player. However, the story is a bit more complex. The ERPA provides for a minimum fee per player that is superior to the amount Doyen invested in that player. In other words, regardless of the transfer fee paid, Doyen will always make a profit. The bank always wins

In case FC Twente would have decided not to accept an offer for any of the seven players involved, the club would have had to pay a fee to Doyen IN TURN for FULL ownership of the player. It is - from a financial perspective -  equivalent to the put option in the first agreement, albeit against market value in stead of a minimal transfer value. As far as I know, the first agreement - including these put options - have passed the dutch FA's scrutiny.

DC's a disaster but don't believe Doyen have a direct financial interest in us - like the agent at Wolves - as they have been so rubbish with our scouting.

Suggests they are earning big time, whatever quality players they send our way.

But if true, will be another compliance nightmare to go with FFP  matters.

Paxo is our DOF , as confirmed by @Lee Strafford . Paxo has very close ties to Doyen ,and Nelio  Lucas , the main man at Doyen is a director of Paxo's sports management company.
