Rice has jumped from the U18s, straight over the U23s, into the first team picture

Shaw had only played a couple of U23 games when he made the bench

John quick question, do you think any of these lads are ready to step up to the U23 squad yet?

I bet he says O’Brien.

Would be good if we see some of them progress, most of them seem to be of a higher quality than in previous seasons.

John, is Conor Grant a midfielder who gets forward, or a striker Also, did Hunt get a game

Alex Hunt is too old for the U18s this season. He was a second year scholar last season and is now a first year pro, the same with Brennan, Borukov, Hughes, West and Lonchar.

This side are scoring goals for fun but seem to be really strong defensively too. Hopefully we’ll see a lot of these lads break through into the first team at some point?

Dawodu must be pretty close to a squad call up, especially as right back isn’t one of our strongest areas

Another brilliant performance, definitely making the trip to see the Blunts put to the sword.

Did Jordan and Eyad enjoy the trip to Celtic ?

Hi daz. They were refused permission to go up pal, so 3 tickets went to the ticket bank for fans who cant afford to go. It was a terrific game, watched it on tv.

Great stuff - still top of the league John?

Moving even further away from the chasing pack. 5 points in front now.

I think they need a run in the 23s but this team is jam packed with talent.

Oh, oh! 5 points ahead going into a derby match, that has a certain ominous ring to it!

And its brilliant that we are getting your reports, getting to be an important part of OT.

Hope that not to far in the future we will see a few of them making a name for themselves in football.

The clue is in the OP and his use of the word "Juggernaut"! No doubt if they were to beat us it would warrant top spot on their Honours Board!

They won’t get a sniff in the game.

You are very negative mate. Have faith in the youths.

Seen it too often before over the last 50 odd years. As for the 5 point "gap" remark, if we had two games in hand over them I'd be bricking it by now! lol

When they beat the Blunts 6 - 0, we'll have an escape tunnel ready for em.

Joking aside, well done to all the lads, a wonderful shining light amidst our current woes.

Next up are Sheff. Utd. and Hull, both at home. United look in form, but looking forward to the lads giving em a good thrashing.
