Bannan last niight

Honestly, this thread.

 

Have any of you played football in rain like that and a pitch getting heavy ? Your boots, the ball and the grass are totally different. Your muscle memory doesn’t help at all.

the conditions are atrocious last night and we are beating up bannan for not tapping it around like xavi ?

They passed it around fine.

Have to wonder if that collective mental energy, which Bannan was part of,  is what underpinned the defensive focus though.......

 

 

 

I agree. That spell in the second half where every pass out of defence went to one of their players. Dreadful.
