I actually thought he was one of our better outfield players last night. Off the ball he worked his socks off, chasing and harrying - not just sauntering and loitering somewhere near the ball like Penney. After 20 minutes I thought he was going to be knackered for the rest of the match he'd done so much running. It was like he was playing as a forward and a defender at the same time. And for someone who gets so much stick for neshing tackles he really got stuck in. When he had the ball his options were usually limited because there was no-one else to play a forward pass to. Anyone who works that hard, has so much energy AND carries the threat of a wonder-strike is fine by me. It's just a shame that when he had his chance he shanked it.
