Mountain Owl
Its a no brainer. And yes Mick would take the job. He would have the same kind of impact Jack Charlton had in the late 70's. Unless DC swallows his pride and makes the right move we will end up in league 1.

McCarthy is a Scottish sounding name, Scotland's a foreign country where the men wear skirts and speak funny. Sounds perfect, get him in!

He signed 78 players in five years at Ipswich, roughly a new 16 man squad per year. Don't think he ever spent more than £750,000 on one signing. Jos has signed 3 players in 1 year, the biggest outlay being circa £300,000. For some bizarre reason I remember him appologising to the Wolves fans for signing something like a dozen players one pre season, saying in hindsight it was too many. We can’t dream of attracting that standard right now, so someone who knows the league is ideal for our situation. In my opinion

Bing Cosby
Chansiri won't get rid of Jos. If he did however, he wouldn't hire McCarthy. Even if he did somehow become our manager, he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut about the farcical situation behind the scenes and would either walk out or be sacked. TheEnchanter
We are a club that has made short term plans ever since Chansiri arrived. 2 years for promotion before we went bust. Great planning by the way because it means we are forced into more short termism. Mick McCarthy is exactly what we need. Sadly. He will steady us over 30 games and give us a foundation to build on. Currently we have no real plan on and off the pitch and are all over the place.
