Athelwulf
Jostle is to all intents an purposes playing for his job in the forthcoming fixture. It's inconceivable that he doesn't know that. If we field the same outfit which took to the field on Saturday, and employ the same tactics, then we'll be walloped. Jos will have the dubious honour of being the manager in charge when this club suffered its heaviest defeat to the Blades in almost 70 years...not to mention getting his marching orders. A walk of shame. His only hope (and ours) is to change tack at the back, and bring the old contemptibles back from obscurity. If he has the humility to do this - and FF can play the last 20 mins - then we have an outside chance.

pgmetcalf
Their defence is dead slow. All we have to do is wait for their wingbacks to push on and them lump the ball up to the halfway behind them and have our strikers, wingers run on to it. We won’t do that of course because we insist on playing it out from the back
Bouncing Owl
So many different teams and formations being suggested. Thanks, Jos! Not only are the players confused but also the fans haven’t a clue.
robswfc
.....,.,,,,,,,,,,Dawson Palmer .Lees Hector Thorniley Fox FF.....Ppessy......Bannan...Reach .........,,,,,.....Joao Got to play 5 defenders after the embarrassing defending last few games. If Forestieri not fit then I guess 532 with Fletcher upfront
Animis
Genuine question about Matias - it was reported (2nd Oct) he had hamstring injury five weeks ago, with an anticipated return of 'two weeks'. I know it's becoming a bit of a joke quote, but how come two weeks becomes five?

Woodie
Going in to such a big game we are so underprepared it’s untrue, there is nothing wrong with being flexible during matches. But to go from a back 3,4 to 5 every week is PATHETIC and there is no wonder we are shipping goals and are so unorganised , we are a bit jack of all formations and master of none. Pre season we should have established our best formation for the players we had and stuck with that. He doesn’t seem to fancy many of the older players who have brought us our most successful period in 20 years. The core of our playoff side is still here. He didn’t even play Forestieri when he was fully fit earlier this season. Even if we win on Friday all it will do is sweep all this under the carpet. Absolutely this mate he had a free go end of last season as we were safe to get a good formation work it or tinker and set it in stone over summer to go straight on start of the season. We were playing so well with three at the back...got more points second half of season than the pigs and then he changes it...beggars belief and makes absolutely no sense

Strikers on crutches should provide us with more pace and movement than seen in recent weeks. I love this formation, unfortunately Jos would still tell them to play out from the back so we'd be stuffed.
beloved_aunt
Need to play cautiously of course, but also need something down the other end to hold up the ball and give us some respite. Fletcher is a must for that and if Fessi isn't fit then I think you have to goa Joao alongside, inconsistent of course but other than Reach how many other genuine goal threats do we have available right now? Also his pace is another outlet when we look for an out ball. So... Westwood (but it'll be Dawson) Lees Hector Pudil Hutchinson (but it'll be Pessy) Palmer Reach Bannan Penney (but it'll be Fox) Fletcher Joao (but it'll be Nuhiu)
SiJ
He'll probably set us up 2-3-5 with Nando and Matias as the centre backs.
