I was going to go today but as I haven't been all season I am concerned I will get hounded out by the elite fans who hold season tickets.

I understand how much non-dedicated fans such as myself are despised so I thought I'd be better off staying at home and tidying the garage out

If the Red button comes in on Saturday 3pm games , watch those ST renewals drop through the floor.

The band will try drumming along to ‘Hi ho Silver Lining’ as usual, completely out of time so that half of the Kop are singing at a different point to the rest of the stadium, killing the song yet again.

I've always liked it, very avant-garde.

Most of the fans I know that are going, including myself aren't looking forward to it & don't have the usual match day buzz. When the team is announced the gloom isn't likely to be lifted.

While it's up to us as supporters to get behind whoever is wearing the shirt Jos needs to send the team out on the front foot, with energy & looking to attack. That gets the crowd lifted & less likely to get on players backs.

Start off on the back foot & concede an early goal then the atmosphere could turn toxic.
