You have to wonder if he'll play at all.

Another op. Even if a minor one is a set back.

Christmas fast approaching. Won't be long until we're streaking into 2019.

We can't offer him a deal based in the last 18 months , we don't know whether he's even going to be able to come back anywhere near what he's capable.

Let him go though...and it's what £3m and an excellent player down the swanny.

Be our luck if we gave him a reduced off deal he'd stay....and end up finished.

Let him go he'd fully recover and become a great player for someone else.

Wish some one would do some streaking. Part of the fun of going to Hillsborough was the chance of seeing a streaker. :goalie:

You've got to ask though where he goes from here as a player, surely nobody gives him a contract anywhere near as decent as the one he got here?

Maybe he doesnt need another one though. Either way, pretty terrible injury record for us as i can't see him making more than 10 appearances for us this season, depending on the injury of course.

The way things are reguarding injuries at Hillsbrough I would be amazed if we saw 10 appearances

from Hooper,Abdi, Hutchinson and Lee between the four of them.

Groin surgery - 10 week lay off

whats another 10 weeks to add to the last 44 weeks he has been out.  he is done here and done in football , he is on 29k a week there wont be a club out there what would pay any footballer 5k a week who almost is never fit ,he was out 6-8weeks on 2-3 other occasions while been here too , and at other clubs he played nowhere near  46 games in a season he is also coming upto his 31st birthday , I don't think he has a gambling problem so he will be set for life on the wages he has been getting from us. other than that he was a decent footballer but time moves on.

You've got to believe the *fitness* regime under Carlos has played some part in this shambles.

The players have to take some responsibility too and it's pretty apparent some are absent due to off the field issues, but with the likes of Hooper, Lee and others it's like they're broken beyond repair.

I note that Matias has vanished off the face of the planet too.

Got the structural integrity of a cream cracker that bloke.

So left the field 10 months ago with what Bullen said was a calf strain and now he is in hospital recovering from a Groin operation.

You could not make it up...

It beggars belief

Doh.

The squad numbers he has had at his biggest two clubs are 14 and 88, both significant numbers in the Neo Nazi world.

Hoops is a Nazi and won't play cos we have some black players.

End of injury conspiracies. :tango:

You're looked after by the best professional help money can buy. Check.

You're employed by Sheffield Wednesday and you've had a couple of million quid out of the club and it's made you a bit meh about bothering. Check.
