Every person that has had a parking ticket, should take the Council to court.

Especially those that have had them on match days.

Too right they should. And if they arnt refunded ,then its clearly one rule for us taxpayers, and another for them.

Arses, I knew there'd be a flaw in my plan. My own fault for playing by the rules I suppose.

Just driven past and there's no sign of em moving. What is the car park used for on matchday? Do we as a club pay the council for its use? If so, and it won't be much, we ought to withhold the payment for 1 days use if we can't use it. It's down to the council to move em it seems and they haven't done it. It's a ridiculous situation really.

The club has a deal with the council whereby they pay for it to be exclusively used by the corporate people on match days.

Interesting to see what happens tomorrow,

I'd imagine they'd pay road tax/insurance otherwise there vehicles would be seized immediately.

Wouldn't you need a proper address for insurance?

Might be a problem for tax reminder renewel form from DVLA too.

When I past in week they looked like foreign number plates on car I could see.

I hate this country sometimes as soon as this was reported to the authorities they should have been sent on their way, until they start pitching at places that matter, can you imagine if they pitched up at somewhere like Chatsworth House car park how long do you think they would last there

If they pitched up on the side street outside Attercliffe nick, the plod would have done something about it , you can be sure of that.

Surely if the park is pay and display and they havnt paid then it's illegal. I parked in the park on a recent Dooleys VIP day. The gates are locked at dusk I think it said. Just leave the gates locked then wait for them to break something down then they have commited a crime. Police will probably avoid confrontation. If they cannot or will not deal with the Herries road problem then it's unlikely they will deal with this.

the gates are still there thats a first thought they'd have weighed them in by now.
