If they are fit, they should be playing in these games, so if called upon, they can slot into the first team. Disagree with that, either give them game time in the 23's or stick them in the squad at the weekend, completely leaving them out makes no sense at the minute with how awful the bench was on Saturday. Experienced and proven senior pros being ignored for whatever reason when you've got the chairman claiming it's promotion or serious trouble for us next season? I think it's a refreshing policy trying to push the kids on but perhaps this season is not the right time and it's unfair on the kids to do so now?
