Well this is a huge pile of non-news

If he has been appointed as our u16 coach then obviously he would have to leave Frickley

Can't see why it would create any stir at all

The only stir is he was once involved in trying to buy the club (or at least pretending to).  Bit strange too (his new role) given he used to sponsor the South Stand at one time.

There's a coach comin' in
If you listen you can hear
A clip, up and over the hill
And the sound that you hear
Is as good to your ear
As the call of a wild whippoorwill

There's a coach comin' in
You can feel it gettin' near
All at once, and it bursts into veiw
And it looks to your eye
Like it fell from the sky
Like a coach full of dreams come true

On another thread too but hey....

Might catch on and I'm sure if you start it then either the band'll feck it up or we'll join in

From 'Paint Your Wagon'

You might recognise this song from the same musical?

Gotta dream boy
Gotta song
Paint your wagon
And come along

Where am I goin'?
I don't know
Where am I headin'?
I ain't certain
All I know
Is I am on my way.

@steelowl spent quite a bit of time talking with him. The fans thing was always a last resort but it did progress to a meeting with the Co-op bank and possibly was the nudge to MM to get on with a deal rather than await administration.

The question was whether we wanted a Sheffield Wednesday to stay in business and if it did go belly up not letting the vultures circle. Some of us were not prepared to let that happen but were delighted when MM did step in.

Though looking at the club today not so sure we would be that much worse off

Spencer Fearn is a decent bloke.

He’s building his coaching credentials and had a very entertaining team at Frickley last year.

His background in education services, of sorts, might be of use to the Academy.

He was already involved in the Academy

its potentially a good move all round.

He needs all the luck that he can get. He's obviously been deemed a failure and a nobody by the many 'fans' on here.

Not at all but even you must admit this is very strange? From buying the club, to managing Frickley to U16 coach, even by wednesday standards that’s decking strange

He might be taking over the club from the inside like...

Coaching all the youngsters, in two years he has a virtual army of fit 18 yr olds, thats he himself has moulded into his own "Wednesday army"...It will only take 2 or 3 to get into the first team and spread discord, like...

"Really Jos...3 5 2..wiv no roving 10 in the hole?"

Jos' position will be undermined as the older players start thinkin'..." That kid seems to know what he's on about"

Before you know it there will be a bloodless coup.....

Some owls fan will be drivin' past the South, see 2 Golden Elephants on a trailer...Its how it happens

I reckon this is exactly whats happening...

P.s

I could be totally wrong and don't know who spencer fearn is...

He's going to rise through the ranks and be our own good looking version of Wilder.

He'll sell his company for hundreds of millions then buy us too.

First chairman/manager in the history of football.  You heard it here first.

According to some posters we already have one of those.
