Why is this not at a weekend for the small number of people that actually have jobs are able to attend?

Here's a few reasons

1. SAG felt it was too dangerous to have extra crowds in the library on a Saturday

2. It was planned for the weekend but SKY enforced a change to the schedule

3. Quite a lot of people actually work at the weekends too

4. The pigs had a protest because they wanted the cup it in their cabinet this weekend.

This is basically Sheffield all over. Love my city but jesus in comparison to the likes of Liverppol, Manchester and Leeds we lag behind in so many ways.

Have Sheffield Wednesday been involved at all? Someone has put a video up on twitter, and I note that the pigs have got their grubby banners up in there. Have their own way and they’d rewrite history that lot.  I sincerely hope swfc have played a part or were asked to play a part in this?

Got there just in time to hear the FA expert telling a couple of people  that Piggies won cup in 1935. Had to correct and reprimand him

And the talk about United, the "expert" boasting about the oldest professional ground in the world being BL. That honour belongs to Field Mill, Mansfield. Anyway they omit to mention that United were formed YEARS after Bl was being used by other clubs amongst them The Wednesday. The other "record" they boast about is the first Premier League goal being scored by Brian Deane. Thats not a "record", or, indeed, anything else, football did NOT start with the premier league!

The main myth that they still bang on about is being the first football club to ever be called United.  Even though Hanover United were formed in the 1870s.
