hirstys_achilles
The Jos out brigade need a serious reality check. How can anyone else in this situation really do better. Against top teams on another day we could have beaten them even when playing below par. Experienced players have played very poorly recently and the injury curse has reappeared which I now consider proof we have lightweight players not up to the fitness required for this league. None of this is Jos fault. He has stated only young players will be signed when possible and nobody with injury history. We constantly have a team of up to 11 injured players. The situation has gone on so long now it's really affecting the club badly. The young players have been thrown in quickly and much quicker than Jos wanted and they have done remarkably well. After a few bad results inexperienced players are more likely to lose confidence. This is why at such an important time in the season we get behind the manager and players. Hopefully we can help turn our fortunes around as results can become terminal very quickly at this stage.
Eastern
I can see what his plan is. Young players, young squad future. but are fans willing to wait 3-4 seasons for frutiation?

Aging injury prone highly paid players on long term contracts is cc legacy that Jos has to sort out.

Wednesday_Jack
Some of the youngsters need taking out of the firing line or they will end up like Spurr, Palmer n McAlister!! All the potential but they will buckle in a poor under performing squad.
vulva
To be fair, from that team tonight I’d only class Dawson and Baker as ‘young’. Its hardly Jossys Giants.
Guest mkowl
At least come up with a plan that uses the senior players that are available. They will learn a lot more from them
Rogers
There’s giving the kids experience next to senior players and then there’s throwing them in at the deep end and expecting miracles. Edited October 23, 2018 by Rogers

And while our nearest and dearest are progressing along nicely, adding to their squad with shrewd signings, and continuing to get results while playing an entertaining brand of attacking football and at a competitive price. Success can be delivered as well as being a work-in-progress.

DC did what CC asked as he convinced him that he would get us promotion. CC failed and spent alot of money on the wrong players on long term contracts. Until the club can get rid of these Jos options are very limited. Jos is doing as well as any other manager would do in this situation

Its all so easy to just sit here and blame Carlos, but D. C signed the deals and allowed Carlos to get us into this mess. He also left him to carry on digging us into the hole, then blamed us for it all insisting we made him sign Rhodes and that we were to blame for his buddies short comings. Even if their own form is ok atm. The young players are our only hope for a decent season as none of the established experienced players except reach, bannon and dare I say pelupessy are really promotion material

DC said at the time the fans wanted Rhodes too. DC put his faith in CC for right or wrong. Rhodes would have been a fabulous signature if the team created chances for him
theowlsman
The manager’s put them in there, it’s his job to protect them. If he can’t, it doesn’t say a great deal about his qualities as a manager.
